From Gratitude to Lasting Connections

Appreciation at Work

Because everyone wants to feel valued - just not in the same way.

A simple “thank you” doesn’t land the same for everyone.

Appreciation at Work helps teams understand how each person prefers to give and receive appreciation—creating workplaces where gratitude feels authentic, trust deepens, and morale soars.

Led by Valerie Menzel and Leanne Burnett, both Certified Facilitators of Appreciation at Work, this interactive session brings the Five

Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace® to life. Blended with CliftonStrengths®, it gives teams a practical and joyful way to build connection and engagement through genuine appreciation.

The Result

A culture where people feel seen, valued, and motivated.
Workplaces where appreciation isn’t an afterthought—it’s how the team thrives.

The Savvy Experience

This workshop is heartfelt, energizing, and filled with those “I never realized that about you!” moments. Participants explore what appreciation looks like for them, what it means  for others, and how to keep that sense of value alive.

Appreciation vs. Recognition
